Tree Line in the Snow
Bob Harper bought his first camera, a Yashica 35mm rangefinder, when he was 15 years old. He started using black and white film for the yearbook club at high school. After a transition to digital, Bob has now returned to his black and white film roots.
Tree Line in the Snow was taken in winter in Saskatchewan, Canada. Very cold. Used Fuji GX617 film camera mounted on a tripod in the back of my rented SUV. Composed photo, set aperture and shutter speed and then rolled the window down and took the photo quickly before the camera could frost up.
Black and white film used, although with the subject, there would have been very little difference had this been shot with colour film! Developed in Caffenol. Scanned using Epson V650.
