Inspiration for my images is mostly in nature – scenery, the seasons, gardens, plants, patterns and abstraction. I’ve been a photographer with my first Kodak Brownie since growing up in Australia and travelling around the world! I’m a founding member of the Cowichan Valley Camera Club in 1980. The digital era was a difficult transition but I enjoy using Photoshop to add to images.
The scene is of the beautiful Cowichan River and is not far from the Town of Lake Cowichan on an idyllic summer day. The water and trees were sparkling and everyone was having fun at LIttle Beach where the tubes are pulled out at the end of an unforgettable experience for locals and visitors.”
